Fareport Training meets expected standards in latest Ofsted inspection

Fareport Training Organisation is pleased to share the outcome of its latest Ofsted inspection (February 2026).

The report confirms that Fareport is meeting the expected standard across key areas of provision, with strong performance in adult learning programmes and apprenticeships, and safeguarding arrangements fully met.

This reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality training and positive outcomes for learners and employers.

Inclusion

Leaders identify learners’ needs effectively and put appropriate support in place, with Ofsted noting that “leaders identify apprentices’ and learners’ support needs well” and ensure staff are equipped through training to support them.

Staff work collaboratively with employers to support learners in the workplace, and leaders use partnerships to help reduce barriers to learning. Inspectors also highlight that leaders “monitor the outcomes of learners and apprentices with barriers to learning and/or training effectively and recognise the importance of using this information to contribute to staff training topics.”

Leadership and Governance

Leaders demonstrate a strong understanding of their provision, with Ofsted reporting that “leaders have a clear focus on improving the quality of the provision” and “know their strengths and weaknesses well”.

Governance is effective, with the advisory board providing both support and challenge. Inspectors note that board members “know the strengths and areas to improve well and provide appropriate challenge and support where needed”.

Fareport has also built a positive internal culture, where “staff enjoy working at Fareport and are motivated to do their best”, reflecting strong leadership and a supportive environment.

Adult Learning Programmes

Adult provision is a key strength, with learners making excellent progress. Ofsted highlights that Skills Bootcamp learners make swift progress from their starting points” and produce work “of a consistently high standard”.

Outcomes are particularly strong, with “a very high number moving to positive destinations”, including employment and career progression.

Learners benefit from well-structured teaching and industry expertise, with trainers using effective methods to build knowledge over time and support long-term learning.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are also a significant strength, with Ofsted reporting that “Apprentices, including those with barriers to learning, make extensive progress from their starting points.” and develop skills they apply confidently in the workplace.

Achievement rates have improved and are high, and “most apprentices achieve distinction or merit grades in their final assessments”.

Apprentices produce “work that is typically of a very high standard” and are well prepared for their next steps, with many progressing within their current roles or gaining promotion.

What it’s like to be a learner at Fareport

Learners and apprentices’ benefit from a positive and supportive environment, where “trainers create a safe and respectful learning environment where learners and apprentices enjoy their learning and attend well”.

They gain confidence, develop new skills and apply their learning effectively in real-world contexts, helping them progress in their careers and personal development.

Continuous improvement and next steps

Fareport is using the findings from the inspection to further refine and strengthen its provision. We are focused on building greater consistency across all programmes, ensuring that every learner benefits from the same high-quality experience regardless of course or delivery model.

There is also a continued emphasis on developing staff expertise, with targeted training and support designed to enhance teaching practice and keep pace with industry expectations. Alongside this, Fareport is working to deepen the integration of careers education, helping learners to better understand progression opportunities and make informed decisions about their future.

These actions form part of a wider commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that Fareport not only maintains its current strengths but continues to evolve and respond to the needs of learners and employers. Fareport Training Organisation will continue to build on these strengths, ensuring learners and employers benefit from high-quality, impactful training programmes.
