How are Skills Bootcamps funded?
If you’re considering enrolling one of your employees on to one of our Skills Bootcamps, it’s essential to understand how they’re funded and what this means for your business. Here’s what you need to know:
– For Small & Medium Employers (SME’s) with less than 250 employees:
The employer must contribute 10% of the Skills Bootcamp cost per employee, with the remaining 90% funded by the Government or local authority.
– For Large Employers with 250+ employees:
The employer must contribute 30% of the Skills Bootcamp cost per employee, with the Government or local authority funding the remaining 70%.
Note, participants can only join one Skills Bootcamp per funding year (April 1st to March 31st).
