Wiltshire & Swindon Project Management Skills Bootcamp

Calling all Wiltshire or Swindon residents – whether you’re employed, self-employed, or exploring your next career move, this Skills Bootcamp offers the opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience. From setting up a project to seeing it through to completion, you’ll develop the confidence and know-how to manage every stage effectively. Suitable for newcomers as well as those looking to refine their existing skills, the programme features expert instruction and the option to work towards the APM Project Management Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).

 How are Skills Bootcamps funded?

If you’re considering enrolling one of your employees on to one of our Skills Bootcamps, it’s essential to understand how they’re funded and what this means for your business. Here’s what you need to know:

– For Small & Medium Employers (SME’s) with less than 250 employees:

The employer must contribute 10% of the Skills Bootcamp cost per employee, with the remaining 90% funded by the Department for Education or local authority.

– For Large Employers with 250+ employees:

The employer must contribute 30% of the Skills Bootcamp cost per employee, with the Department for Education or local authority funding the remaining 70%.

Note, participants can only join one Skills Bootcamp per funding year (April 1st to March 31st).

What are the eligibility rules for a funded Skills Bootcamp?

To be eligible for a funded Skills Bootcamp, your employee must:

  • Location: Needs to be living in the area/county served by the bootcamp
  • Age Requirement: Needs to be aged 19 years or above on 31st August 2024
  • Right to Work in the UK: Must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • UK Residency: Must have maintained UK residency for the last 3 years
  • Size of Business: Must work in an SME with less than 250 employees, for the employer to only pay a 10% course contribution
