Funding at a glance

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is committed to keeping Skills Bootcamps accessible to as many people as possible. Here’s how the funding works:

Unemployed individuals, freelancers & sole traders in Surrey: 100% funding by the DWP through Surrey County Council
Small & medium businesses in Surrey (under 250 employees): Employer contributes 10%, with the remainder covered by the DWP
Large businesses in Surrey (250+ employees): Employer contribution of 30%, with the DWP covering the rest

Please note: learners may enrol in one fully funded Skills Bootcamp per year (April 1st – March 31st).

Are you eligible for a FREE Surrey Skills Bootcamp?

You could qualify for full funding if you:

Live in Surrey
Are aged 19 or over
Have the right to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK for at least a year
Are unemployed, self-employed, or a business owner with no staff
