Skills Bootcamp funding for Essex employers

Employer contributions are based on the size of your organisation.

  •  Small and medium-sized organisations (1–249 employees): Contribute 10% of the course cost per participant, with the remaining 90% funded through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Essex County Council
  • Large organisations (250 or more employees): Contribute 30% of the course cost per participant, with the remaining 70% funded.

Please note: Each eligible employee can undertake one funded Skills Bootcamp per funding year.

Employer eligibility

To access funded Skills Bootcamp training, participating employees must:

  • Live in Essex
  • Be aged 19 or over
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have lived continuously in the UK for at least the past year
  • Be employed by an organisation that meets the employer contribution requirements (10% for organisations with 1-249 employees or 30% for organisations with 250+ employees)
