If you’re interested in starting a career in education, our fully funded Teaching Assistant Skills Bootcamp could be the ideal first step. Skills Bootcamp funding for Essex employers

Employer contributions are based on the size of your organisation.

Small and medium-sized organisations (1–249 employees): Contribute 10% of the course cost per participant, with the remaining 90% funded through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Essex County Council
Large organisations (250 or more employees): Contribute 30% of the course cost per participant, with the remaining 70% funded.

Please note: Each eligible employee can undertake one funded Skills Bootcamp per funding year.

Employer eligibility

To access funded Skills Bootcamp training, participating employees must:

Live in Essex
Be aged 19 or over
Have the right to work in the UK
Have lived continuously in the UK for at least the past year
Be employed by an organisation that meets the employer contribution requirements (10% for organisations with 1-249 employees or 30% for organisations with 250+ employees)
