This apprenticeship is designed to be practical, engaging and enjoyable, giving you the opportunity to develop skills that you can apply straight away in your role, rather than simply learning the theory. We believe you play such an important role in helping children feel safe, build confidence, overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. This apprenticeship builds on the experience you already have, helping you develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to become an even more confident and effective Teaching Assistants.
– Lisa Elsey, Fareport Trainer
Throughout the apprenticeship, learners will explore a wide range of topics including child development, safeguarding, communication, behaviour management, supporting pupils with SEND, assessment for learning, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Apprentices will learn how to contribute to lesson planning, support literacy and numeracy development, encourage independent learning behaviours, and create safe, stimulating learning environments that help pupils thrive academically and personally.
This is much more than gaining a qualification. It’s an opportunity to grow professionally, build confidence, and recognise the difference that can be made every single day!
There will be times when balancing work, study and everyday life feels challenging, but we are here to support all learners, every step of the way, celebrate learner successes, help individuals overcome any barriers and keep learners on track towards completing their apprenticeship.
We want to see your team thrive and excel in your role!
