When I designed this programme, I wanted it to be engaging, practical, and inspiring. The aim was to create an experience that helps learners develop new skills, broaden their knowledge, and gain a real understanding of the health and social care sector. Most importantly, the programme is designed to provide the underpinning knowledge needed to support future career and academic progression, giving learners a strong foundation for whatever path they choose next.”
– Jodie Clark, Apprenticeship Manager

As learners work through the programme, they will learn about the key areas of health and social care, including person-centred care, safeguarding, mental and physical wellbeing, infection prevention, digital working and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Learners will develop valuable workplace skills including communication, teamwork, resilience, and professionalism.Combining hands-on experience with structured learning, the programme provides a solid foundation for future careers while supporting learners to build knowledge and confidence within the adult social care sector.
