When we designed this programme, we wanted it to feel relevant, practical, and enjoyable. Rather than simply learning theory, you’ll be encouraged to think commercially, apply your learning to your own role, have broad discussions and build confidence within completion of assignments and presentations.
– Natasha Goad, Cirriculum Manager
Fareport’s aim is that by the end of the programme, you’ll not only have achieved your apprenticeship, but you’ll also have developed the knowledge, skills, and confidence to progress your career and make a real impact.
During the programme you will gain a real understanding of how buying and merchandising teams contribute to the success of a business. You will have opportunities to examine how products are planned & sourced and how buying decisions can influence customer satisfaction, profitability, and business performance.
Together, we will explore topics such as product lifecycles, supplier relationships, stakeholder management, and negotiation before moving into the specialist Buying or Merchandising pathways which we have built to support you in your role and as you move towards your assessments.
Everything you learn is linked to your role, so you have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in the workplace as you progress through your delivery model and build a portfolio of evidence.
All learners study the core duties and then choose one of two pathways:
- Buying assistant duties
- Merchandising assistant duties
