When we designed this programme, we wanted it to feel relevant, practical, and enjoyable. Rather than simply learning theory, learners are encouraged to think commercially, applying learning to their own role. They have broad discussions and build confidence through completion of assignments and presentations.
– Natasha Goad, Cirriculum Manager
Fareport’s aim is that by the end of the programme, learners will not only have achieved their apprenticeship, but they’ll also have developed the knowledge, skills, and confidence to progress in their career and make a real impact on their business.
During the programme they will gain a real understanding of how buying and merchandising teams contribute to the success of a business. They will have opportunities to examine how products are planned and sourced and how buying decisions can influence customer satisfaction, profitability, and business performance.
Together, we will explore topics such as product lifecycles, supplier relationships, stakeholder management, and negotiation before moving into the specialist Buying or Merchandising pathways which we have built to support learners in their role as they move towards assessment.
Everything learnt is linked to their current role, so learners have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in the workplace as they progress through the delivery model and build a portfolio of evidence.”
All learners study the core duties and then choose one of two pathways:
