Our Skills Bootcamps in Wiltshire and Swindon are focused, 10-week programmes designed to deliver fast, effective training.

Funded primarily by Wiltshire Council and Swindon Borough Council, these bootcamps are available at no cost to eligible participants. They provide residents across Wiltshire and Swindon with valuable, industry-relevant skills to help boost career prospects or support a move into a new field.

Wiltshire & Swindon Project Management Skills Bootcamp

Calling all Wiltshire or Swindon residents – whether you’re employed, self-employed, or exploring your next career move, this Skills Bootcamp offers the opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience. From setting up a project to seeing it through to completion, you’ll develop the confidence and know-how to manage every stage effectively. Suitable for newcomers as well as those looking to refine their existing skills, the programme features expert instruction and the option to work towards the APM Project Management Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).

How are our Wiltshire & Swindon Skills Bootcamps funded?

Understanding the funding structure can help you make an informed decision. These bootcamps are supported by government funding to ensure they are financially accessible:

If you’re a Sole Trader, Freelancer, Business Owner without employees, or currently Unemployed in Wiltshire or Swindon: Your course will be fully funded by Wiltshire Council or Swindon Borough Council.
If you’re an SME (fewer than 250 employees) based in Wiltshire or Swindon: Your business contributes just 10% of the course cost per employee. The remaining 90% is covered by Wiltshire Council / Swindon Borough Council
If you’re a large employer (250+ employees) in Wiltshire or Swindon: The employer pays 30% of the course fee per participant. The rest is funded by Wiltshire Council / Swindon Borough Council.
Please note: Each individual is eligible for one funded bootcamp per financial year (April 1st – March 31st).

Who can access our fully funded (free) Wiltshire & Swindon Bootcamp?

To qualify for a fully funded place on our Skills Bootcamp, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

Live in Wiltshire or Swindon
Be 19 or older as of 31st August 2025
Hold the legal right to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years
Be a Sole Trader, Freelancer, Business Owner with no staff, or currently Unemployed

Meeting all these criteria could make you eligible for a government-funded bootcamp that supports your career ambitions.
