Funding for Oxfordshire Skills Bootcamps

Department for Education (DfE) funding keeps these programmes affordable and accessible:

For Sole Traders, Freelancers, Business Owners without staff, and Unemployed Oxfordshire residents: Full funding available from the DfE via Enterprise Oxfordshire.

For Small and Medium-Sized Companies (under 250 employees) in Oxfordshire: Pay just 10% of the course fee per participant; the DfE covers the remaining 90%.

For Large Employers (250+ employees) in Oxfordshire: Contribute just 30% of the course fee per participant; the DfE funds the other 70%.

Note: Each person can access one funded Skills Bootcamp per financial year (April 1 – March 31).

Eligibility for a fully funded Oxfordshire Skills Bootcamp

You may qualify for a fully funded place if you:

Live in Oxfordshire
Are aged 19 or over on 31 August 2025
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years
Are a Sole Trader, Freelancer, Business Owner without employees, or currently unemployed

Meeting these criteria could give you access to a DfE-funded Skills Bootcamp in Oxfordshire that helps you advance your career or change direction.
