How funding works for our Hampshire Skills Bootcamps
Understanding the financial side is key when considering your next step. Here’s how funding support is structured to make Skills Bootcamps accessible:
Who pays what?
- Unemployed individuals, freelancers, sole traders, and business owners without staff in Hampshire: Your course is 100% funded by Hampshire County Council.
Small and medium businesses in Hampshire (under 250 employees): The Hampshire employer covers 10% of the cost; the rest is funded by Hampshire County Council.
Large businesses in Hampshire (250+ employees): The Hampshire employer contributes 30%, with Hampshire County Council funding the remaining 70%.
Note, you can only enrol in one funded Skills Bootcamp per year, from April 1st to March 31st.
Are you eligible for our FREE Hampshire Skills Bootcamp?
To receive full funding for a Skills Bootcamp in Hampshire, you must meet the following criteria:
Live in Hampshire
Be aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2025
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Have resided in the UK for at least 3 years
Be unemployed, self-employed, or a business owner with no employees
If you tick all these boxes, you could join a Hampshire Skills Bootcamp at no cost and take a significant step forward in your professional journey.
