Funding opportunities for Surrey employers
Funding support is available to reduce the cost of training as follows:
SMEs (fewer than 250 employees): Pay only 10% of course fees – the remaining 90% is funded by the DfE via Surrey County Council.
Large organisations (250+ employees): Pay 30% of course fees – the remaining 70% is funded by the DfE.
Each employee is eligible for one funded Skills Bootcamp per year (April–March).
Who’s eligible for support?
To access subsidised training, employees must:
- Live within the Surrey county
- Be aged 19 or over as of 31st of August 2025
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Have lived in the UK for the past three consecutive years
- Work for an employer that meets the required contribution level (10% for SMEs, 30% for larger organisations)
