The most enjoyable part was completing practical tasks related to my job. It helped with EPA prep and reflection on my learning at ALDI. The training layout was clear, and the Principles of Buying applied well to my role.
I joined Fareport in 2007 through their E2E programme and completed NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. With their support, I completed Level 3 in 2010. Now, I help others pursue careers in Health and Social Care.
I really enjoyed completing these units, I found the fact-finding part the best as I had to find and learn new information.
I started my Level 5 Apprenticeship in 2015 while managing Northcott House, where I introduced a Team Leader role and achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating. Now managing Redclyffe House, the apprenticeship has helped me advance my career.
Before starting my Level 2 apprenticeship, I was anxious and lacked confidence. With support from staff and my trainer Emily, I’ve gained confidence and skills. I’m now excited to continue learning with a full-time position in the ward.
I have now passed my apprenticeship and been promoted to Junior Buyer. When I asked for support, advice, and guidance I received it. My trainer was very supportive and helpful. I would like to continue to the next level of CIPS.
I’ve already recommended the service. It was well-organised, and Sarah encouraged us to think outside the box. It strengthened my skills for the future and can help other students achieve their career milestones.
