What is the most important thing you have learnt during the Skills Bootcamp?

I began as a complete novice to digital marketing and Nicole was extremely thorough in her teaching. I learnt about all the different types of digital marketing as well as tips to apply it to my current field.

We learnt about all the different techniques and principles you could use as well as visualising this in a relevant context.

I was worried that I would learn all the theory and then be stuck on how to use it in my day to day work at the company but Nicole eased my worry and also provided support when it came to thinking of ways to use what we’ve learnt.

How did the Bootcamp or trainer support you to develop your skills?

Nicole was extremely supportive and kind throughout the course, I appreciated her honesty and you could tell she really loves what she does. She was always available for any questions I had and made sure to thoroughly explain anything I was unsure of.

How has the Bootcamp helped you in your current role, a new job, or career goals?

I’ve got a new position at work doing the digital marketing and it has allowed me to go into this new role with confidence that I will be able to figure out what needs to be done and achieve what my employer wants me to achieve.

What advice would you give to someone considering a Skills Bootcamp?

I’d say, take notes! I wrote down plenty of notes and it made things sink in a lot better. As well as this, just keep thinking about ways you can apply what you’ve learnt in day to day life.
