Fareport Training launches the ‘Data for Growth – Fareham’

Working in partnership with Fareham Council we launched the Data for Growth initiative at the Fareham Business Breakfast.

This week, we were proud to attend the Fareham Business Breakfast held at the Fareham Innovation Centre, where we had the opportunity to introduce Fareport Training and connect with local businesses to highlight the growing need for skills-based training in today’s workplace.  The venue has a fabulous terrace overlooking the Solent Airport at Daedalus – perfect for a morning coffee and chat in the sunshine.

Working in partnership with Fareham Council we launched the Data for Growth – Fareham initiative that offers the Data Analyst – Level 4 Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) fully funded to businesses part of the Fareham community.

We’re excited to be working with our local council to see how this partnership can evolve and continue to advise businesses on apprenticeships, Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), and Skills Bootcamps that can empower businesses to upskill their workforce, close critical skills gaps, fill vacancies and support long-term growth.

“It was a fantastic opportunity to speak directly with local employers about the real-world impact of funded training,” said James Ford. “We’re seeing more demand than ever for digital skills, and as a local training provider we help meet those needs head-on.”

The event brought together local businesses, residents and stakeholders – all with a connection to the Fareham business community and the regeneration of the local area. Jane Hardy, Economic Development Officer at Fareham County Council, coordinates these events and a host of other initiatives to being this community together.
