Help Shape the Future of Workplace Skills

Building a Future-Ready Workforce
Fareport Training in partnership with the Hampshire, Surrey & Isle of Wight Chambers are researching and analysing how soft skills like communication and teamwork are crucial for tomorrow’s success.

Fareport Training partners with Chambers of Commerce to analyse workplace soft skills

We’re delighted to announce a new partnership between Fareport Training and the Hampshire, Surrey and Isle of Wight Chambers of Commerce, supporting the research and analysis of workplace soft skills as part of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP).

Why focus on soft skills?

Soft skills are the personal and interpersonal attributes that shape how effectively someone works with others and approaches their role. Unlike hard or technical skills, soft skills focus on areas such as:

  • Communication
  • Teamwork
  • Problem-solving
  • Time management
  • Adaptability

These skills directly impact productivity, efficiency, and workplace culture — and their importance is only growing in today’s fast-changing world of work.

To ensure this project delivers real value, we’d love your input so please join one of the focus groups and/or complete the survey.  Together, we can strengthen the skills that underpin workplace success and support growth across our region.
