What can Fareport do for your business?

Fareport Training Organisation Limited can help you as an employer by offering specialised training and development to existing staff members, or assist in recruiting and training new employees.

Whether you are small family run business or a large organisation, by supporting your employees to complete short courses, gain nationally recognised qualifications (NVQ’s) and Apprenticeships you can in turn improve your business practices and performance also.

If you feel that you would benefit from evaluating your needs against your organisational objectives and aspirations then our experienced staff can offer a Training Needs Analysis (TNA's) service during within which we work through a straightforward system to identify key areas that you may wish to target with training and support. We then help you to access funding options to support delivery and provide you with a Training Proposal that details what you can expect to achieve against the financial outlay.

The focus is on supporting the individual so in addition to employing them, each business must be prepared to support training and assessment visits and some periods of day release training based on individual needs. The support required is agreed individually to take into account the needs of the learner and the business situation.

Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for England (SASE)

April 2011 saw the release of the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for England (SASE), which update the requirements of each apprenticeship framework currently delivered under Government funding.

Although there are delays for a few of the occupational areas we deliver, for many programmes this confirms the return of Information Technology (I.T.) as a mandatory element of many programmes. Health and Social Care, Customer Service and Retail are still only required to complete Maths and English Functional Skills to achieve the full framework. Anyone starting from the middle of April will have found that I.T. is included in Childrens Workforce and Development, Business Administration and Management frameworks, recognising the growing importance of technology in these sectors. Although the release date for all SASE was April 2011, we are still awaiting confirmation of some sectors but your Assessor will be happy to go through the current requirements and the impact it may have on your business.

Other changes include the introduction of externally tested ERR (Employee Rights and Responsibilities) rather than the training and workbooks that they currently complete. This will be delivered within our normal training options and we will discuss the implications for each Apprentice with you during the sign up process.
Benefits of investing in your employees training & development include;
