Cost: If you are a sole trader, freelancer or business owner without employees the course is fully funded by Hampshire County Council. If you have 1-250 employees you must contribute 10% (£332.50) per employee and the other 90% is funded by Hampshire County Council 

 2. Who can attend the Hampshire Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp course?  

Are you a Hampshire resident aged 19 or older seeking to enhance your digital marketing skills? If so, our Skills Bootcamp is tailored just for you! If you're a sole trader, freelancer, or considering launching your own business, this Skills Bootcamp is fully funded and worth over £3,000. If you are employed you can complete this Skills Bootcamp with the support of your employer, who will have to fund 10% of the course cost for you.

Kick off your journey into digital marketing with a solid foundation in its core principles. This introductory module will explore the landscape of digital marketing, including essential tools, techniques and the latest trends. Simultaneously, participants will begin crafting a personal development plan tailored to their learning objectives and career aspirations within the digital marketing field. This dual focus ensures that as you gain technical knowledge, you also set personal milestones to guide your learning throughout the program. 
In the second week, the bootcamp delves into the crucial aspects of market research and targeting. This module equips participants with the skills to identify and analyse target markets effectively, using both quantitative and qualitative research methods. You will learn how to gather and interpret data to understand customer behaviours, preferences and trends. The week also emphasises the importance of segmenting these markets to tailor marketing strategies that resonate deeply with different audience segments. Week 3 of the Skills Bootcamp introduces participants to the vital components of strategic positioning and effective goal setting within the digital marketing context. You will learn about the key elements of website design and development, including usability, SEO optimisation, and content strategy. The module also explores how to effectively integrate social media, email marketing and other digital tools to build a comprehensive online presence that engages and converts your target audience. Through interactive workshops and practical assignments, participants will apply these concepts directly, developing skills to craft an impactful digital footprint that supports their overall marketing strategy. 
Week 5 challenges participants to master the art of social media while simultaneously developing their personal brand. This module teaches you the principles of effective communication across various digital platforms, including blogs, videos and social media posts. You will learn how to develop content that not only engages but also converts and supports broader marketing strategies.

As digital marketing can often involve fast-paced environments and tight deadlines, learning how to manage stress effectively is crucial. Participants will explore various methods to maintain productivity and mental well-being, ensuring they can handle high-pressure situations with ease. Practical activities will include content creation workshops and stress-relief exercises, providing a well-rounded approach to professional development in the digital marketing realm. 
In Week 7, the bootcamp focuses on the critical role of email marketing within the digital marketing spectrum. Participants will explore how to harness the power of email to build relationships, enhance customer loyalty and drive conversions. This module covers the fundamentals of email campaign strategy, including segmentation, personalisation and automation. You will learn how to craft compelling emails that capture attention and prompt action, using analytics to track performance and optimise future campaigns. Additionally, the week will introduce best practices for ensuring compliance with Data Protection regulations. Week 8 introduces participants to the dynamics of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising and the principles of value-based selling. The Hampshire Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp course is a comprehensive 10-week training program designed to equip participants with essential digital marketing skills and knowledge, totaling 60 hours of learning. 
Participants must be aged 19 or older, live in Hampshire, be sole traders, employed or freelancers, have the right to work in the UK and have maintained UK residency for the last 3 years.

The Hampshire Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp is a 10-week program with a total of 60 hours of learning. 
You will receive a certificate from Fareport Training upon completion. 
No, participants must not have started a Skills Bootcamp in the last 12 months to be eligible to attend.
