This course is designed to support the unemployed, self-employed and employees looking to acquire or improve their data analysis skills.
We welcome learners of any age (19+) and provide support for additional learning needs.

Whether you’re a business owner, an aspiring data analyst, a marketer, project manager, middle manager, or in any role that works with data, our Data Analyst Skills Bootcamp can equip you with the skills to make data-driven decisions and drive success in your role.

What is the Data Analyst Skills Bootcamp?
What will you learn?
You’ll learn how to market your small business. Over 14 weeks we teach you the fundamentals of Digital Marketing including Audience Definition, Branding, Content Creation, SEO, PPC and Email Marketing. You’ll use AI-powered digital marketing simulations to practise what you’ve learnt & see the results immediately. We’ll also develop your soft skills including presentation skills, stress management and time management.
Learn how to:
- Represent data visually using various tools (Excel, Power BI & Jupyter) and techniques
- Understand different database models and manipulate data using SQL coding
- Use programming languages commonly used in data analytics, such as Python and R coding
- Write code for data manipulation and analysis
- Produce reports and presentations that communicate data insights clearly and persuasively
Additionally, we focus on developing your soft skills, including presentation skills, stress management, and time management.

Live online group training
7 hours a week with our Digital Marketing experts. Learn from anywhere. Our class sizes are small & typically have 12 participants only.

With a wealth of experience in the financial services sector, Nicholas is a passionate systems development professional who has excelled in various technical roles. As a proficient MI/BI system developer and lead data analyst, Nicholas has a proven track record of building strong relationships through a friendly and open-minded approach.
An expert in the Systems Development Lifecycle, Nicholas has also served as a Software Process Consultant, where he created a bespoke SDLC in collaboration with an external consultancy firm. Their role involved researching, defining, advocating, training, and mentoring best practices in object-oriented analysis and design.
Key personal skills include a love of learning, excellent communication, and a positive attitude. Nicholas is known for his inclusive leadership, logical problem-solving, and enthusiastic embrace of change. With extensive knowledge in software engineering and business process improvement, Nicholas brings a clear and enjoyable training style to software development best practices. To be eligible for funding you must:
Live in Hampshire
Be aged 19 or over on 31st August 2024
Have the right to work in the UK
Have not started a Skills Bootcamp in the last 12 months
Have maintained UK residency for the last 3 years
If you are unemployed, a sole trader, freelancer or business owner without employees the course is fully funded (£2,740) by Hampshire County Council
If you have 1-250 employees, your employer must contribute 10% (£274) per employee and the other 90% is funded by Hampshire County Council
If you have 250+ employees, your employer must contribute 30% (£822) per employee, with the remaining 70% funded by Hampshire County Council
