Safeguarding
Protecting our learners welfare
Fareport receives an Ofsted 'Grade 1 Outstanding' for Safeguarding!
The main findings from our July Ofsted inspection found that:

"All learners feel exceptionally safe and have a very good understanding of safe working practices. Safety at work and knowledge of employment rights and responsibilities are reinforced well."

"All learners have a very good awareness of Safeguarding issues and their resolution from their induction activities. During training their understanding is reinforced and tested at training and review meetings."
Fareport adopts the definitions of safeguarding used in the Children Act 2004 and the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.

We are committed to the protection and welfare of all young people and learners on our programmes and ensuring that they are safe and feel safe on our premises.
Enhanced C.R.B. Identity Cards: Who are we?
It is mandatory for all Fareport staff to carry an identity card when they are out visiting learners and employers or attending external events, such as careers fairs.

Our cards will display the name of the staff member, their photograph and an identification number. Please phone us immediately if you want us to confirm a member of staffs identity.
Personal Attack Alarms: putting your safety first
To help our learners, and staff, feel safer in getting to and from their workplace, we have purchased a number of personal alarms.

These are available on request from our Head Office. Please speak to your Assessor if you would like us to provide you with one.
