LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR

Working in the training room with young people (aged 14-19 yrs) from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, who are preparing for work and apprenticeships, developing literacy, numeracy and personal development skills.
The role includes
• Delivery of training to 14 to 19 year olds within our Entry to Employment programme
• Developing young people towards nationally recognised qualifications
• Planning delivery programmes and time management
• Detailed reporting on individuals and course progress
• Promotional work with schools and local employers
• Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum of grade A-C at GCSE or equivalent)
The successful candidate must show:
• Commitment to their own personal development
• The ability to work as a team
• Literacy skills to A level standard (or equivalent) and numeracy to GCSE A-C ( or equivalent)
Desirable qualifications include:
• A1 Assessors Award
• PTTLS, CTTLS , Cert Ed or other Teaching Qualification
